Welcome to Canon Frome Cricket Club
Canon Frome Cricket Club is an ECB Clubmark Accredited cricket club. We run four junior cricket teams: U9s, U11s, U13s and U15s. The junior teams play in the Herefordshire Junior Leagues with training on a Friday night through the season. The First and Second XIs at Canon Frome Cricket Club play in the Marches Hereford League, while we also run a Sunday friendly team, midweek touring team and T20 team playing through the season.
New players and members of all ages and abilities are very welcome whether you want to play the occasional game, be a regular all season or just want to come and help on the ground. Match Report from First XI vs. Hanley Castle & Upton on 11 Aug 2007
Canon Frome lost to bottom team Hanley Castle after restricting them to just 153 all out they reply should have been more simple.
With Max & Andy at the crease with the score 50-1 it seemed within reach but then after Max deceided running was not a required Andy was run out and the colapse began. With 100 required off 50 overs with 8 wickets remaining Frome made hard work of getting to 118 before being bowled all out for a disappointing loss.
