Division Six leaders Canon Frome have stretched their lead as they were the only match played when they beat Ombersley by 114 runs after a wonder spell by Pete Elkington who bowled 5 overs, 3 maidens and took 8 wickets for 5 runs! This was after he had scored 56 in his side's 248-7.

These are the best bowling figures recorded by a "Fromer" since Chris Styles took 8-5 against Leominster over 10 years ago when Frome were in the Marches League.
