Under 13 XI vs. Eastnor - 15 Jul - Another win for Canon Frome U13s - Eastnor 102/7 v Canon Frome 114/5

An impressive result made all the more remarkable by the fact that Canon Frome elected only to hit the ball and not really bother with the running between the wickets part of the game. A strategy that certainly conserved a lot of energy and completely denied one option of dismissal (a run out) from the Eastnor team's armoury. One can only fantasise about the possible score-line had some of the Canon Frome batsmen jogged up and down between the wickets whilst the ball was being fielded out on the boundary.

Star batsmen for the Frome were John Watkins (19) and Tom Davies (17) with all five other batsmen who went in scoring runs too.

Star bowler for the team was Jasper Gilbert who took three wickets for just 10 runs in three overs with an economy rate of 3.33!
Harry Booth took two wickets and Arthur Harris and Tom Davies both took a wicket each as well.
