Under 13 XI vs. Colwall - 12 Jul - Colwall win by 37 runs

A good game played in good spirit by both teams who have a tradition of rivalry and friendship.
Colwall batted very well indeed with Bruno Recordon and Lars McDonald scoring 32 and 31 respectively. By contrast, Canon Frome's highest scorer was Ben Day with 13 so you can see that our bowling attack were really up against it with our batsmen not performing on the day.
As a consequence, all our highpoints came from our bowling attack, namely:
Tom Rex took 2 wickets from 2 overs for just 8 runs (4 is a very good average indeed and 2 wickets to boot).
Sam Booth went for just 15 runs from 4 overs including a wicket maiden!
Oliver Burdsall took two good catches in the field - a fantastic contribution. Sam Booth took the other catch.
Other wickets were taken by Will Brandreth and Ed Metcalfe who clean bowled his batsman!
