First XI vs. Hereford City - 19 Aug - Frome frustrated in hunt for top half finish

Young skipeer Forts was keen to make a winning start as skipper but he was twarted by the heavens.
Frome decided to bowl first to skittle hcsc before the rain came,this did'nt look like it was likely when their young wristy opener smaked Louis and makeshift opening bowler Lloydy to all parts,however the bowlers were not helped by some fine belly flop fielding by Taz and Orgs.It was left to the grand daddy of the side Badger Richards to show the boys how to field and he never even got dirty!!
Rain stopped play with hcsc 78-2 after 13 overs and well and truly on the rack with Lloydy picking up the dangerman and that man Huxstable bowling the other opener with the wrong un'.A frustrating afternoon but a good tea by Hux made up for it.
