First XI vs. Martley - 14 Jun - Frome not up to the task

Canon Frome went into the game after losing a thrilling encounter last week to Himbleton on the last ball by one run.

From lost the toss and were put into bat and after a solid start were 116-3 with some contributions from Fortnam (23), L.Watkins (23) and Rogers (30) but some irresponsible batting and running meant the side were bowled out for 167.

Frome's bowling wasn't much better with L.Watkins (2-30) and Styles (1-19) taking the only wickets as Martley cruised to victory.
