Canon Frome went to the top of Division 4 South with a winning draw against a weak Old Vigorians Team. After being asked to Bat Canon Frome found themselves at 36-4 after just 8 overs but a partnership of 155 between Andy Rogers (94) and Neil Andrews (55) took them to a respectable score of 261 in their 50 overs.

In the end Canon Frome should have declared earlier as the Old Vigorians reply was very slow and didn't show much to indicate they wanted to chase the runs down. The finished 167 - 8 denying Frome maximum points but Frome are now 5 points clear at the top of the League.
