First XI vs. Claverley - 19 May - Frome lose tense finish after brave display

Frome lost their 2nd game in Division 5 after a brave display taking the game to the last.

Frome started slowly but picked up with positive knocks from Nicko Evans 38 & Andy Rogers 20, but neither going on to make a match winning contribution. From bowled out for 126 in 45 overs.

Frome shouldnt have got close to defending the total but performed supberly in the field with tight bowling and solid fielding. Andy Lloyd 2-16 and allrounded Nicko Evans 2-19 took the lead and Luke Cottrell 3-23 nearly spun the game for the Frome. They ended up 1 wicket short but put up a fantastic performance and look forward to next week.
