Under 11 XI vs. Eastnor - 26 May - First win of the season

Canon Frome U11's first win of the season!

Some excellent bowling performances from all the players, with George Harris taking his first wicket of the season, and some much improved fielding helped restrict Eastnor to the lowest score Canon Frome has been set to chase so far. Highlight of the fielding was a family team effort with Tom Day chasing down what seemed a certain boundary and diving full length to flick the ball back in just before the rope with Ben Day backing up superbly to pick the ball up and return to the keeper.

Chasing the runs down was not without its moments of stress with the match still in the balance down to the final delivery with the captain, Arthur Harris, facing and playing a perfect defensive shot to seal the victory.
