Under 13 XI vs. Wormelow - 11 Jun - Lost

This match saw a considerably stronger batting performance from Canon Frome with our first retirements of the season with both Eric Harris and Jon Andrews reaching 30. The rest of the team did their best against some accurate bowling but couldn't quite match the early run-rate but the final score of 103 off the 20 overs was the highest of the season by some way.

Good bowling and some excellent work in the field (special mention to Jasper Gilbert for saving a number of certain fours and to Jon Andrews for a great catch) wasn't quite enough to contain an accomplished Wormelow batting line-up who managed to reach the target within the allotted overs.
