Under 13 XI vs. Ewyas Harold - 02 Jul - Another valiant effort: CFCC 123 for 4; Ewyas Harold 125 for 2

Another valiant effort from the U13s this week. They were down some players but the whole team put in a great effort to make the match another close affair.

After a couple of early wickets, Harry and Tom D. steadied the ship but a 4th wicket partnership of 80 between David and Marcus led to a final total of 123 off the 20 overs (David retiring on 30 and Marcus remaining 17 not out).

The Ewyas Harold team had some strong batsmen but CFCC stuck to their task and with a wicket apiece from Harry and David and some very tight bowling from Sam, it took Ewyas Harold until the 19th over to reach the score. Once again there was great efforts made with the fielding from all the players.

Thanks to all the boys for their sterling efforts - another encouraging performance.
