Under 11 XI vs. Colwall - 21 Jul - Sleep overs took a toll ?

Under overcast skys Frome had to battle against a strong Colwall. Colwall batted first and accumulated a huge total of 171 in their 20 overs. Well done to Henry Avery and Will Brandreth for their respecitve wickets. Line and length will always get results.
Frome lost a couple of early wickets but a tremendous partnership from Jamie and Henry A and then Jamie with Charlie C ensured Frome used all the overs finishing on a respectable 84 all be it extras being the highest "scorer". Well done to Colwall; deserving winners and sporting to lend us 3 fielders. A few positives today but key is to get the basics right. thanks to our supporters and Sally as ever for scoring.
