Under 9 XI vs. Brockhampton - 26 Jul - Close run thing....

Well over due this report. But a win against mighty Brockhampton should not go without a mention. Brock batted first and scored a net 214. Superb bowling saw Frome take 8 wickets. Special mention for Archie Brown playing in his first game. Going for just 5 runs off the bat in his first over. Protecting his wicket and scoring a couple of useful runs. They all counted as Frome edged to a win with 235 but it ran close at times. And tension as wickets fell. Coach Badge needed fortification with a pint of "lucozade" mid match. Great fun , summer sun seems a distant memory. Well done to all who played: George, Will, Archie , Millie , Ronan, Robbie, Japer, Bertie and Henry.
