Under 9 XI vs. County Final - 04 Aug - It should be a game of two halves..v Colwall

Unfortunately we only got to enjoy the first half with the rain preventing start of the second innings.
Captain Sam Booth won the toss and elected to field, a sensible decision with in the rain and gloom. A good all round performance from all players with accurate bowling and sharp fielding. Wickets for Charlie, Ben and Robbie (great catch George H). Colwall were kept to 275 which was considered achievable if Frome batted sensibly, running quick singles and protecting their wickets. But we will never know. The match will be replayed in full in September .. we are thinking about Sunday 8th with the same team if available. Well done to: Sam, George, Millie, Charlie, Marcus, Robbie, Henry Jasper Ronan and Ben . You really stuck at it despite the grim conditions .. it was feeling just like summer again. Thanks Sally once more scoring in the rain.
