Under 15 XI vs. Brockhampton - 22 Jun - An enjoyable evening

This was a game where we didnt play badly at all but Brockhampton have some real firepower in their ranks and we just could not keep up. What we did see, however, was some mature captaincy from Eric Harris who scored a captains 30 himself and tried a new batting order so we got to see Rylan out in the middle scoring 7 and Sylvie Slinger really going for it and rousing the spectators by grabbing four runs off just 7 balls. Our fielding was actually very good and we have really improved in this regard. Two wickets apiece were taken by Menno Recordon and Arthur Harris with Harry Booth, Olly Parker and Jasper Gilbert each getting a wicket too. Excellent catching in the field came from Olly safe hands Parker, John safe hand Watkins and Tom I cant believe he caught that Davies. With marvellous food provided by Ali Gilbert, Ronnie Parker, Sally Booth and Phillippa Slinger I think everyone had a good time down the Frome. Thanks to Simon Cottrell for donating his time to umpiring for us and to Sally Booth for scoring again and being fab.
