This was a top of the table tussle between our boys and Brockhampton. Unfortunately, we left it to this game to pull our weakest performance of the season out of the hat. Whether it was tiredness or what - the team were definitely under par. Whatever was going on, George Harris clearly hadnt received the Memo, as he put in a blistering solo performance scoring 25 runs from his brief four over pairing and taking a catch that no one had any right to expect Jonty Rhodes to catch, let alone one of our under 11s! And for good measure he took it one handed over his head as he ran forward and his body twisted. All pretty impressive stuff but in the end we were 20 runs short.
